Periods, Falling, and Bad Foundation Days

Hello Lovelies! Can we get serious for a moment? Saturday was not the best day ever. Do any of you get serious cramps? I'm talking, my-cramps-are-so-bad-im-going-to-throw-up-now! bad. I should be used to it by now, I've been going through this for years now, but I was always able to sit and relax or lay down or SOMETHING. But with my new job, its not the easiest, and I just happened to have to open the store that morning and deal with customers. Lets just say my co-workers asked me not to die on them, lol. Of course they aren't that serious, but as soon as another cast member came to work, I ran to the bathroom in hopes that I would either throw up or the feeling would magically disappear.

Needless to say, the cramps didn't go away, but like I said, I've been dealing with this for years now, so I knew that the worst was over and I could actually stand up straight and talk without fearing I'd puke on a client. Did i still hurt? Oh hell yes. But It was tolerable.

Finally I came home and wanted to soak in the bath. I just wanted to relax! So I drew the bath and hopped on in and realized there was no hot water. Ok, there was enough to make it warm, but the craziest part was that the bottom water was cole and the top was hot! It was definitely not relaxing, that's for sure.

But let's not stop there. I was feeling a lot better after relaxing and my boyfriend Travis and I wanted to go to the store, so we came down the stairs and about half way down, yup, you guessed it, I fell. No serious harm was done, just a bruised arm, a sore butt and maybe a tiny bit of ego damage. But I really wasn't in the mood to fall down some stairs.

That's enough heavy for now, on to something I find quite funny.

Go ahead, you can laugh. Everyone in my house did. Ok, its not TERRIBLE. I could probably go out with that foundation on and get a few odd looks, but otherwise, some blending on the neck, i could rock it... maybe...

We were training at work and this is what they matched me with. I kept saying it looked a tad yellow and dark, but they said it looked really good. I'm not blaming them, I just know my skin a bit better than others. First, foundations oxidize on me pretty bad, so I have to be careful with which ones I use. Second, I don't want to look tanner... more tan... you know what I mean. I like to embrace and even enhance my paleness.

When I got home Travis just looked at me like something was off. Even my stepdad noticed, and my mom told me I looked like I had jaundice. Needless to say, I'm NOT Cool Sand In Bobbi Brown Foundation lol! But I love my work family. They are seriously the best.

But I had a great weekend with Travis and got some cleaning done on my days off. We even almost adopted a puppy! She's a 5 month old mix but just look how huge she is already!

I named her Bella, but sadly my folks said no. They even went so far as to say I wouldn't be allowed to live at home if we brought her home! (Jokingly of course... I hope...)

But it's back to work tomorrow. Food and sleep sound great. Goodnight!
