Vacation?!?

Hey lovelies! I feel like I haven't written in a while! Feels like a mini vacation lol! Has it been that long? I don't know. Oh well! I'm here tonight! I have a video I'm wanting to get edited for you guys, but things have been busy with work and today I spent time with Travis. He helped me color my hair again, so I feel normal now!

He did a pretty good job Huh??? I think I'll keep using his services to color this mane of hair! But I love him whether he helps me or not!

Anywho, since I wasn't actually on vacation, I am really looking forward to my upcoming trip to New York! I'm going to attend a few classes at The Makeup Show, and probably do a bit (or a ton!) or shopping. I've never been to New York so I'm a bit nervous too. Washington, D.C. Is the biggest city like that I've been to, but I'm still excited! We still have some details to work out, but it's coming along!

I dont really have much to say tonight other than, it's late and I have work pretty early in the morning! So good night you guys!

Day Of Beauty

Hello lovelies! Well it's 12:25 in the morning. I really should be asleep. I know that's not super late to a lot of you, but I have to be up in 6.5 hours to get ready for work. Oh well, what's a few hours of no sleep? It was a good day anyways! The weather was beautiful and I actually had a Saturday off work! So what better way to spend it than to get in some Me Time?

I started off my morning with a shower, I was in desperate need after last night. My room got so hot and my fan is no where to be found. So I made due and just had a nice rinse. I love using my sea salt soap bar from Whole Foods and my little scrubby puff. The combo is fantastic at giving that squeaky clean feeling. After a scrub-a-dub-dub, I called to make a hair appointment. I desperately needed to get my ends trimmed and my bangs needed some love. Can I just say I'm so thrilled an old customer of mine had one more opening today??? I've never been to his shop, Carter Hair Design, but I could tell he was good just from talking to him when he shopped for supplies. And yes, my hair looks fantastic!

I wanted to get my nails done, but since it was a nice day everyone and their dog was out, so I couldn't get an appointment till 6. No fret! I figured I could film a video or 2 for you guys. I have a few new things I've been wanting to review and haul. But as I mentioned before, I have a new camera, and today was supposed to be when I broke it in. But, alas, my SD cards were so old, the new camera didn't support their slowness. Thank you BestBuy people for helping me. I grabbed a new card today but by the time I dicked around with the camera and got home I had enough time to say hi to the fam and head back out to get my nails done.

But hey! I love how they turned out. They are a bit simple for my taste, but I do the heavy duty artwork myself, I really just needed a fill. Like, bad. And the best part? Travis came with me :). So I definitely enjoyed my day of beauty and the weather. We even grilled some steaks and made s'mores over a fire. So sorry I didn't get to film, but hopefully I'll have some spare time Monday, I have a full day of work tomorrow followed by a date night! Yay!

You have a wonderful day!

Green Tea Paper Masks

Hello Lovelies! So incase you missed the video I'll Have it below. These are some pretty cool masks.

Can I say that I really like them? When I first opened it, I was getting nervous, its folded up and its super slimy. I was afraid to rip it, but I managed to be gentle. The Instructions are rather simple too.

1. Unfold the mask

2. Apply to a clean, dry face
3. Wait 15 minutes, remove and rub product into skin. No need to remove extra product

So easy! And let me tell you, they feel kind of cool too. Very cold and very slippery. I felt like I was patting slime onto my face. But like I said, I did enjoy the mask. After I removed the paper, I rubbed the product into my face, and had to apply some moisturizer after, just to get rid of the sticky feeling it left behind. My skin didn't burn, it didn't get irritated or red.

The only thing I noticed was the next day I did get a few more breakouts. BUT I'm not sure if its from the mask (it's anti-blemish green tea, so it could have just drawn everything to the surface) or if the foundation I wore is the culprit. I did use my old UD Naked Skin foundation which is not my favorite. But needless to say it wasn't a bad breakout and I will totally do this mask again!

Check out the video review and first impression here

Have a great weekend!
